The COVID-19 “pandemic” was one of the worst public health incidents in recent history. RFK Jr literally wrote the book on the mismanagement called “The Real Anthony Fauci” where he eviscerated the NIH, FDA, Fauci, and many more. For more information there are various Joe Rogan and Tucker Carlsen podcasts on the topic in addition to the book and by the end of those you'd have an in depth comprehensive view of the entire thing.
I'll list my thoughts and some things that stuck with me below. Still ongoing as I write things bit by bit
False Binaries and “best medicine”
A common narrative you'll hear is how the vaccines prevented millions of deaths. When the topic of side effects and effectiveness come up, it's usually brushed off by comparing the covid vaccine to nothing. So if the vaccine causes 100 deaths but covid causes 150 then the vaccine is worth it. This completely ignores alternative treatments from simple vitamins like D, C and Zinc to well established safe medicines such as Hydroxychloroquine and Ivermectin. More importantly, it ignores preventative measures. There's no reason treatments and comparisons need to start once the patient is infected.
